Camber Sands - England


Camber has a jewel, that nowhere in this part of the South-East can match:



Camber Sands 2½ miles long and a ½ mile wide at low tide. It is reputed that it is the finest sandy beach in the South-East.






This large and open stretch of sand attracts a variety of people from traditional summer beach users trough to horse riders, kite surfers, kite buggying, land kiteboarding, windsurfing est.

The surrounding natural landscape is of international significance for its wildlife (both flora and fauna), and the designations for the Camber area include a SSSI (sites of special scientific interest).

The sandstone cliffs at Pett and Fairlight glow red in the distance to the west on a summer’s morning.





Camber with its beach, environment and close proximity to London, is a year round destination.
